
If you are too tired of chewing, day in day out, then the solution is obviously to blend those solids! Try this refreshing avocado smoothie from Morocco called a za3za3. Recipe from Kook Mutsjes.

Makes: 2 za3za3s
Ingredients
1 avocado
50g dates
15g walnuts
15g pistachios
15g cashews
10g honey
650ml milk
Toppings:
Strawberry
Kiwi
Banana
Chocolate sauce
1. Time to chop, you fruit!
If you have decided to include some extra fruit in your za3za3, then chop it into small, bite sized portions. Whilst you’re at it, chop your avocado in half and remove the pits from the dates.

2. Blennnndy Wenddyyy
Scoop the avocado into a blender along with: 50g dates, 15g walnuts, 15g pistachios, 15g cashews, 10g honey, 650ml milk.

Zuzsch in your blender for two minutes, until the nuts have broken down.
3. Those in glass smoothies
Take a glass, and if you’re using, then squirt some chocolate sauce around the edge and plop in your pre-cut fruit.

Pour in your avocado mix and you have your refreshing za3za3.
Dink and sink!

How wrong I was. This was such a weird drink, it was bitter and sweet and lumpy, but smooth… I had a really bad sore throat at the time and it was quite soothing, but the texture and taste were so formidable that I would definitely not make it again 2/10”
